Application Process
1. Surface Preparation
Suitable only for cement concrete water tanks. Ensure the tank has cured for at least 4 weeks. Drain completely and clean thoroughly using fresh water or a water jet. Allow the surface to dry completely before coating.
2. Self-Priming Coat
No separate primer is required. Dilute 1 litre of Korzix Tank Coat with 200 ml of clean water. Apply one uniform self-priming coat.
3. Protective Coats
Apply 2 undiluted or maximum 200 ml water diluted coats (depending on your TDS recommendation). Allow adequate drying time between coats.
4. Curing
Allow the coating to cure for 72 hours before filling the tank with water.
5. Ready for Service
Tank is ready for normal water storage after complete curing.
For best long-term performance, always follow the recommended curing time before filling the tank with water.
